(Late revision to my profile): I really would like to find someone with an interest in vintage items, retro decorating (say, 40's-60's era) and the "good ole days"!
Not sure where to begin. First, I must mention the animals. A potential friend/partner simply must love animals and, yes, it's true, I have too many. Everything from talking parrots to a picturesque horse that prefers I not ride her to goats that eat a lot. I do NOT, however, associate with rats, mice, most bugs, snakes, amphibians or reptiles...lol ! (I might be able to learn, though)!
I'm close to my very small family but also end up helping everyone within reach. I'm a jack of all trades and master of none. I'm easy going, like the simple life and am glad to have my own little 3 acres to putter around on. I also enjoy bouncing around eBay now and then. Other interests inclue muscle cars, vintage items from decades past, and getting consumed in too many weird projects. I'm very casual, from dress to thoughts, but can step up to the plate any time I need to. If you'd like to know more, please just ask.
I would like to find someone, friends first, maybe more later if things are right, who is thoughtful and certainly not selfish. Someone who would like to share some of my interests, but keep their own interests as well. I'd like to meet a person who listens, but also talks. He would need to be active around the house and judge me and my surroundings by the inner beauty, despite the dusty cover.
I do engage in some animal rescue (all of the parrots are rescues in some form or other) and I would enjoy someone who appreciates the need to help something in need, and this is not limited to just animals.
I guess when all is said and done, I would enjoy someone who could throw a bright spot in life my way and would enjoy me doing the same. I'm generally unorganized so those bright spots mean a lot...lol
