A little about me ... I moved to CA last year from Colorado Springs and am now a grad student at Berkeley. I grew up on the east coast in a small town in NJ, haven't spent a lot of time on the west coast, but am loving the Bay Area. My background is military, switching to business, probably marketing, but keeping my options open.

Travel is a passion of mine, both in and outside the states, so if you name a place chances are good that I've been there (at least in the airport). One of the benefits of my last profession was the opportunity to see the world (mostly great places, some not so great).

I'm a thinker, and enjoy great conversation. I have been known to stay up all night discussing world events, philosophy, local politics, whatever. As long as it's interesting. I usually get about an hour of news in every day. I think it's important to be aware of what's going on in the world, and I hope you do too.

There isn't much that compares to laughter in my book, so I'm looking for a woman with a great sense of humor. I'm also looking for someone who is as interested in the things going on around us as I am. A woman who is as comfortable going out for a formal evening in a new dress as she is going to the ballpark in jeans and a t-shirt. Spontaneous, but not reckless, active, bright and articulate. I am not picky about age, but prefer to date a woman in my general age group . Write if this sounds like you.
