I'm originally from the midwest, and I've been in this area since 2001. There is a lot to do in this area - many great day trips to take. NYC, Philly, Virginia Beach, Atlantic City, Pennsylvania and West Virginia countrysides, and several Maryland and Delaware beaches are all a short drive from here.

By the way, the baby in the picture is my niece.

I live in the Baltimore area and I work in downtown DC, so I have a bit of a commute. I've been a lawyer for a few years, but I have a normal 8-5 job in the public sector of the legal profession.

I like traveling (I spent three months in Australia a few years ago; I went to Ireland last year), sports (baseball and football are my two favorites), swimming, golf, movies, music, reading, investing etc.

I've tried another dating site, but that site seemed to be full of window shoppers, so I'm hoping to find a nice person to date here. I'd like to get to know someone special. I try to avoid silly one-time meetings if I can.
