Hi I'm Taylor,
I'm brand new to the San Diego area. I came from Washington, DC for a new job/grad school and new adventures. I'm really looking for someone to show me around. I'd love to check out the historical/art museums, comedy clubs, Jazz clubs, live music, hiking, etc in/around the area.

I joined this site because it's been a great networking experience. But now I've stayed on it because I enjoy meeting people in a new context every once in a while.

Don't get me wrong, the bar scene can be great. But I'm just not very good at fake conversations anymore. I can certainly hold my own in a "puppy dogs and ice cream debate," but I'd rather not waste my time. I'll be the first to admit I'm not the brightest guy in the world, but I've come to realize that the personality of your average bar-slut is comparable to the intellect of the ferris wheel operator at a state fair. Maybe I'm wrong and California is different in this respect?

I'm not looking for one nighters or silliness like that. I'm looking for someone interesting enough to maintain my attention, funny enough to make me genuinely laugh out loud, and cute enough to brag about to my friends. Fair?
