Hi. I guess I'm just a different kind of guy. I am honest, gentle and caring. I am non abusive and I do not use foul language. For the most part I'm content with my life the way it is but there are also times I'd like to have a lady friend to go places with. My time is very limited as I work two jobs and I also need time to be with my teenaged son and daughter. I am very realistic so if you are looking to live in a fairytale then I am not the one for you. I'm not into drama and I really don't understand what people write here about "playing games." Maybe that's because I don't do that. I spend most of my nights listening to music at home and I would really enjoy going out to hear live music with someone else. I don't watch television at all and I may see an ocassional movie but I tend not to like things just because they're popular. My time is worth so much more. I guess I don't fit the mold of an average guy and I'm hoping someone reads this who feels the same way.

Originally from New England I am a Red Sox fan but if you're not into sports that won't be a big deal. I will say this, I couldn't care less about UT or Nascar (sorry if you take that the wrong way), so if that's your thing I'm probably not your guy. I do love the country and the mountains. I like hiking, camping and going for long drives on back roads. I like cats. I like living in east Tennessee because it is just so beautiful and laid back compared to where I grew up. I love lots of music, particularly the 60's and 70's but I have varied tastes and quite often listen to jazz, blues and older country.

As for this site, I've been off and on for the past four years. I've written and rewritten my profile more times than I can recall. I don't really know what I'm looking for other than a friend first and see where that leads. I don't expect to fall in love with anyone overnight nor do I want someone who's prone to do that. But I do believe two people with the right chemistry can make a successful couple. If you think you'd like to meet or know more about me, I would very much like to hear from you. Thanks
