Operational word above is strive. Rather than demand perfection in anything I would strive for it in everything. Usually I miss, but I hope to get a little better each time. It's about attitude. I'm not pretentious and don't want to lay expectations on others or on situations. I want to be able to celebrate life as it comes at me without being so hung up on how anything "should" be that I miss out on all the fun.

Me? Aware that self-generated interweb postings are dubious, I'll give it a shot, but hope that you would be skeptical and want to find out for yourself. Its not easy to write about myself and I'm much too unassuming to blow my own horn and I would Never mention any of this myself. That said... you'll find me to be a creative, fun loving and dedicated friend. I'm generally healthy, regularly donate O- blood, have all of my hair and most of my own teeth. Try to find another MBA who took time off from school to study creative writing on an island in Greece. I am Handy with anything from hand tools to a Caterpller loader. I am kinda creative -- for Halloween I made my own Marvin the Martian Custume. I'm a onetime Mensa member, former auto company marketing exec, fluent in Chinese, occasional magician, scuba certified, classically trained gourmet chef, Eagle Scout, graduate of a Jesuit university, painfully honest, and devastatingly handsome. (OK, so the honesty bit only goes so far - you see the pics) While I'm, at it I should claim to be modest too. Currently, I'm planning a land development project. I also invent, build and market toys. But I see myself as being more of a writer than anything. I'm into Dvorak at the Hollywood Bowl, Gamelan concerts in Bali and Shakespeare festivals wherever. Old school hard rock works too. I've studied, worked and traveled in countries that start with every letter save Q, X, & V and love to get off the beaten track. There's always another adventure to look forward to -- you travel enough and start to see that they often happen close to home too. I've got lots of stories to share, but I would rather hear yours, better still plot out new adventures together. I love anything in or on the water and I can’t spend enough time skiing, diving or kayaking. My place is in a great setting to visit with good friends and family. (not sure if they come to see me or the beach) Most important to me are great relationships with 4 gorgeous and successful sisters, lots of nieces and nephews and wonderful parents.

I would hope it would involve a meeting of the minds.
