I'm a very intelligent person that tends to be spontaneous and seek adventure, so I guess I walk the line between daring and stupid. I enjoy all sorts of summer activities. Broke my neck August of '08, but I've made a full recovery, even went snowboarding that December(and ended up with a sprained wrist). I love to break out the jetski and play around in the river or lake, going for a motorcycle ride, although I totalled my bike in July '09. I suppose you can say I'm a bit accident prone?! I just figure that brave people may not live long, but cowards never really live. No sense in living life in fear, right? Boating with friends is a blast... maybe some wakeboarding if I'm lucky. Went to St. Thomas in June '09 for scuba and loved it! Also went hiking on St. John, and did some sailing. I like hanging out at Upstream Brewing Co, but also love trying new places. Otherwise, an evening at home cooking on the grill and then a fire in the pit works great too.

Sorry for the negativity, but here are some of my dislikes. Smoking cigarettes is pretty much a deal breaker for me... Those of you who don't smoke can surely relate. I also want to be able to have intelligent conversation from time to time. Call me crazy, but looks fade, I'd like to have someone by my side that's more than just a trophy. Confidence is a must, but too much ends up looking like insecurity. It's a fine line.

You'll have to have an excellent sense of humor to handle me. I've been told that I'm brutally honest, and I'm not sure that's always a good thing. I can bite my tongue when I need to though.

I'm a very generous person.. will give everything I can to those I care about. I am not a religious person, however I feel that at their core... religions can teach great things regarding how to treat people and how to behave. I don't feel that I need to believe in a God in order to be a good person, however if that is your belief then I can also respect that. If anything I would consider myself a humanist, meaning that I think all people WANT to do the right thing to one another, but are sometimes driven by outside influences that steer them in the wrong direction. I'm a trusting fool, and have been taken advantage of plenty of times.

Also, I'm hoping to sell my house and move to Colorado in the spring to live closer to my daughter since she's in school now and it's more difficult to get long visits here with her. I'm not sure what that means for me dating, but I'm sure that'd scare me away if I were in your shoes. I'm not really looking for it at this point, but should I happen to meet "the one", then I'd hope for a way to make it work.

I think this is such a lame question... if there were a text book answer for this, what fun would that be? I think the key is just being able to communicate and each get a real sense of who we are... but most of all have fun.
