Hi,
My name is Alan, I am a Hispanic/African American male originally from Chicago. I’m 48 years old, (although I've been told I look much younger) In the beginning, I came to Japan while still in the Military But, I have adjusted myself well here. I’m a happy kind of a person who I am Romantic and very considerate of the Feelings of Any lady in my life. I have been told by many that I have a very nice personality and that I am very friendly. One thing that really makes me happy, are people who like to laugh and have a great time doing whatever, as I also like doing. Another is being able to do some kind of good thing on a daily basis to help others. However, I do not like arrogant, unreasonable, negative kind of people, because my out look is always positive. I always try to look for the good in everyone, never harping on their shortcomings. I also believe in sincerity when dealing with people in general. I am Multi Lingual, also a very unique, charismatic kind of a person as well. I believe and think of myself in this way because of the type of personality I have, which I acquired from my mother, who was also very good with people in her lifetime.
Although I'm middle aged now, I still believe as long as a person still lives, there is always hope in achieving goals, and well as continual steps of 'Self Improvement, as well as inspirations from other people you'll always meet in life. There are a few personal goals I still have however, it would take too much time to explain in detail. I will say I'd like to see a few more countries in the company of the "Lady of My Dreams". I would also like to become more knowledgeable in Computers as they are forever getting more technical. Computers are always going to be a part of me.
I have a variety of hobbies including Dancing, singing Computers, installing Home and Car Stereo Systems. I also like going out for long drives listening to music, and having good conversation. I enjoy almost any kind of music I have a collection of more then 3,000 CD's including Hip Hop, R&B,(old And New) Old School, Techno, Dance Music of the 80's, 70's Disco, Pop, Reggae, Classic Rock, Latin, Old Soul, Ballads and Slow Jams, Jazz, and Ethnic music of some other countries. I like going to nice places to eat as well as cooking at home. I also enjoy music concerts, movies, cinema, or home. I also like going to the beach and having cook outs (people cannot resist my Hamburger Steak, Barbecued Chicken, the way I cook Rib-eye Steak, as well as other things such as seafood and Hot Dogs) I also make good Ribs too.

How would I explain it, well I’m looking for a lady that is interested in a possible commitment, (though friends in the beginning is fine) someone with no hang-ups from past relationships. A person with a sense of humor, who also is considerate and has sensitivity. I’ve been divorced for quite some time with no regrets However, I still feel the need for someone special in my life. Well,Any place nice is fine. I'm very flexible on a date, In other words, I 'Go With The Flow' it's always a 2-way Street' what I mean is me and the lady I'd be out with can just do what ever we both feel.
