i'm active physically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually.

I dabble in a lot of things, personally and professionally. I know the benefits and limitations of education. I respect multiple intelligences (Howard Gardner) so there is no academic litmus test.

In religion/spirituality, what you do is more important that who you say you are, what you have studied, or what degrees you have. Bright and thoughtful is almost always sexy.

I am a realist - When asked a question, people: tell the truth, lie, or refuse to answer. I prefer that the primary response is in the direction of openness, sincerity, and intimacy. If you lie about your age and say you want an honest, trustworthy mate... I'll be LMAO...

I am intense at times - but also very gentle and vulnerable - life would be easier if it was one or the other. All to say that I try to avoid people that have some of the same qualities I manifest.

Hobbies include ham radio, computers, web surfing, building things, home remodeling and repair, exploring the sensual, trying to figure out why I am here, writing, and on and on.

I have a severe TV addiction - with occasional bouts of remission. :-) I have managed to juggle that and also learn a fair amount... If you don't know who my heroes Homer and Al are, you don't watch anywhere near enough TV.

I often tackle things I have never done before and probably won't succeed at, just for the experience. so if doing things perfectly the first time is a critical need of yours, well.... I occasionally prefer to fumble through things, knowing i might stumble on something miraculous purely by accident.

Oh yeah, I am the poster ursine for Elaine Boosler's line: "Men are just bears with furniture." actually, the only furniture i care about is my wrap around desk.

Politically I often describe myself as to the left of Mao and to the right of Attila the Hun. I am not an ideologue - My loyalty is to thoughtful analysis of issues not dogma. That said, when I want to watch parodies of news networks I turn on FOX and MSNBC. I am either rolling my eyes or laughing my butt off at their ideas of what an ignorant public believes qualifies as objectivity. If you think either one of them is anything but a joke as a news network we probably won't get along... :-)

get to know someone. setting not terribly important. open to lots of alternatives as to where and when and what to do.
