Decided to reinvent my profile after previous responses, become a bit clearer about myself and who I am seeking to meet. Why be ambiguous when honesty is so easy?
If you understand what my header refers to, we're off to a good start.
I'm looking for a brilliant, good-natured, fearless woman who understands who she is in the landscape of the world, is emotionally aware of her strengths as well as areas that need a bit of work within the context of intimacy (c'mon, we ALL need repairs!), isn't afraid to be adored, knows the definition of reciprocity, is courteous and brave enough to write back when written to, comfortable in her own skin, and isn't here to boost her self-esteem through the amount of mail she receives.
If you can't be emotionally honest with yourself, how can you be honest with me?
Wimpy girls need not apply! I want a woman who is post-traumatic, has healed to a degree from her last bout with ol' whatshisname, and is ready to surrender to the fact that life is short, so let's get busy living.

First dates are traumatic because they have all of that expectation attached to them. I prefer to meet as peers, potential friends, and just relax and have a cup of coffee or maybe a nice walk. Why all the pressure, right? Jeez, this is supposed to be FUN!!!
