Hi. If you think you don't like my 'look', you should read this profile anyway and learn about what's inside me - my mind, my heart and soul. I am very different from the 'masses' and proud of it. You may have a friend, relative, co-worker, etc, who would love me!!!



I am a true Southern gentleman and verrry old-fashioned, despite my 'look' - (I am NOT a hippie, a biker or a drugger and have no tattoos or piercings and have never been in any kind of trouble in my life - for those who automatically assume all 'longhairs are bad boys'). I'm totally honest and open (and damn proud of it), highly intelligent, open-minded and broad-minded, multi-talented, passionate and compassionate, sensitive, sensual, soulful and verrrry youthful and playful :). I am not at all religious but am verrry spiritual. I live by the 'golden rule' and hope that you do as well. I have, many times, been called a beautiful person, both inside and out. It has been said by many that I "take manners to a whole new level."

AGE...really is 'just a number'...and I am 'living proof'!! :)
I am really 62 but incredibly young for my age - always guessed 10-15 years younger. I am soooo blessed. :) (I stated the younger age above so as to be included in more ladies' searches because I am far younger in every way than most 60 year olds, or even most 50 year olds for that matter. This is the only 'fib' I ever tell. I am very proud of my honesty and openness.) I seem to 'mesh' better with ladies in their mid-40s to youthful early, maybe mid-, 50s. :)

Sorry but I have to add this - If you're an alcoholic (you think you have to be 'buzzed' or drunk to have fun)...if you take drugs (legal or not) to maintain an 'even keel' or just cope with life....if most of your thinking is negative....if you are here as a chronic/'professional' dater... I do NOT want to know you - I've encountered too many of these types already. :)
OOPS!! It was brought to my attention that I clicked the wrong box when I first signed up regarding smoking....I smoke BUT would happily quit for the right lady. I only need a little encouragement. She could help by keeping my hands and mouth busy. ;) Did I mention that I love smooching? ;) I am a verrry considerate smoker - never indoors and I even pay attention to which way the smoke travels when outdoors. :) Manners. :)

I joined this site hoping to find ONE REAL LADY (from anywhere) to love and also to possibly make new friends with whom I have commonalities and common interests and who live close enough to the Acworth/Woodstock, GA area to facilitate actually hanging out and doing things together - intelligent, open-minded, broad-minded, hopefully spiritual, honest and open, friendly and fun ladies. All my friends are women. I have little in common with most men. I am not your 'typical American male' - not even close, I'm proud to say!! :) I am NOT a womanizer, or a sports fanatic (I would rather do anything with my lady or 'gal pals' than watch any kind of ball game - I couldn't care less about baseball, football, b-ball, boats, water sports, motorcycles, etc. I do, however, like golf, putt-putt, pool, bowling, NASCAR on TV, etc.) I am also NOT a liar or a cheater. I would never even consider cheating on my lady, unlike most men today - so say the 'experts'. I give my all to relationships, whether friendships or romantic ones. I also seek ONE special lady to love, cherish and pleasure for the rest of my life. I would hope that she possess the above mentioned qualities as well as being sane and sensible :), emotionally available, healthy and happy - at least relatively so :), fit - or at most only slightly overweight and firm!!, and in her mid- 40's to a verrry youthful early to mid- 50's. (I am 5'-10 1/2" barefoot, perfectly proportioned, slim/trim [actually slightly UNDER ideal weight, NO fat anywhere!!!] - BLESSED!! - I'm not bragging, I simply state facts and quote what I've been told - I feel it's important to 'tell it like it is' at the outset to avoid disappointment/frustration/possible anger later - I hold NOTHING back!!). For a possible longterm relationship, I mesh best with Taurus, Capricorn, Libra (I have 5 Libras in my chart - I am probably more the 'relationship/partner type' than most Libras who are known to be THE most partner oriented of all signs), some Cancers, Virgos, Pisces and possibly a Scorpio.

LIVING & 'LIKES', etc. See below FOR TURN-ONS AND TURN-OFFS!! :)
I like living 'simply' - to keep the stress level as low as possible. I'm not a partier/hell-raiser, but a quieter, somewhat reserved, easy going kind of guy. (I do like my music LOUD so I can feel it) Some of my favorite things are: long drives in the mountains - day trips/weekend getaways; visiting parks, museums, historical sites, botanical gardens, rivers/streams in the mountains - the sound of running water is very soothing; walks in the woods, arts/crafts shows, antique stores/malls, etc. Not into huge crowds - prefer quieter places/smaller groups. I have a deep love and respect for wolves. I also have a deep respect for most Native American tribes/nations - possibly 'memories' from past lives. Learning about antiquities, especially ancient cultures, interests me. I'm also into astrology as you may have guessed after reading the paragraph above. The two things I'm most passionate about are my music and passion itself. :) My very favorite thing in this life is making love with a TRULY affectionate, passionate, sensual and sexual lady - (are there ANY left??) I'm not talking about sex - I don't even like the word, it seems somehow crude and vulgar. Animals have sex - passionate humans make love. ;) I never tire of smooching, touching, cuddling, giving and receiving pleasure - with a lady I like/love and am attracted to. (I'm NOT a 'player' - I detest them.) I'm looking for LOVE. NO, I do NOT sleep with my friends.

Please note:
Turn ons....... Honesty, openness, intelligence, high moral standards, scruples, good manners and a gentle, affectionate, passionate and compassionate nature. It goes without saying - a nice, or at least decent, body and an attractive face. A nice voice is a BIG plus because I am a very auditory person. :)

Turn offs....... Dishonesty, bad habits/addictions - too much alcohol, bad manners, selfishness, self-centeredness, an over-inflated ego, too many tattoos, too much make up, and too frequent harsh sarcasm. :(


I'm finding that even those who say they want a LTR do not seem to be serious. It seems that most want to just play on the I-M, (I will not. I think it's silly, childish, and a form of game-playing and it's unlikely that either person will learn much of value about the other - small talk is ok for LATER!!), and most seem to be offended when I ask questions!!! I ask you - how else will you learn enough about a person to make an informed decision as to whether you want to even know the person, much less meet, date, whatever? You ladies with very vague/short ads and few, if any, interests listed should consider expanding your ads so the men will know something about you. If you're too lazy to write a decent ad or real letters and ask and answer questions, I logically assume you're not serious about developing a real relationship. So, WHY ARE YOU HERE?? Is it just a hobby, a source of amusement?? If this is your purpose, you should state this in your ad and be in a category other than 'long term', don't you think???

And for those who can't spend 30 seconds to one minute to say 'thank you' when a man pays you a sincere compliment, you're just rude and cold - totally lacking in manners. Busy is NOT an excuse - no one is that busy. Think about it. :)
