| | To be honest, I actually wanted some girl friends, but if I put female seeking female for friends, all I get is screwed up girls that want to screw other girls.... very nasty and surely not what I am looking for. So I figure I have a better chance at normal people if I did it this way.
I got married in July and then moved here from Orlando, Fl in August (lived in Orlando for over 15 years). I was really big into my Orlando swing dancing scene, and I really want to try out some venues in NYC (for those who don't know what swing dancing is, watch the movie Swing Kids). Also, this winter is going to be a big change for me and my horse because we're both Florida raised and haven't seen snow.
It's been very hard to adjust being so far from my family and all my buddies. I really just want some silly people to hang out with like I did at home. I don't care if you know anything about dancing or riding horses, (or maybe you'd like to try - cuz it's REALLY FUN!) they are both kind of uncommon commonalities. I am also looking for an active church, with a college group and a newly wedds class. Lots of Sunday bar-b-q's and fun stuff like that. I was a member at my church back home since I was in 2nd grade (1992), and had a lot of opportunity there and great friends. |
