About Me
All my life I've been looking for a job ad for a "Renaissance Man"--you know, someone who does a bit of this and a bit of that from time to time. In practice, I've been a steelworker, a university professor, a construction worker (designed and built my present home myself), and most recently a full-time author (7 books).
My ethnicity: 100 percent Polish. I put myself through college working in the steel mills near Pittsburgh (back when Pittsburgh had steel mills). Degrees from Duquesne U., Carnegie-Mellon U., and Pitt. Reasonably well-traveled, including a recent photo-safari in Botswana & Zimbabwe, canoe-camping in the Everglades and the Green River in Utah, numerous visits to California, at least a dozen European countries, Mexico, Martinique, others.
I'm not a comedian, but the right woman will enjoy my company and may even occasionally find me amusing. Plus, I'm fairly good at opening pickle jars.
First Date
We'd meet someplace quiet, so you can enjoy talking and I can enjoy listening. And vice-versa. And if that worked out, we'd follow up with plans to do something more adventurous.
