I'm an ironist, though intimacy is what I seem to do rather well. I'd rather be reading a 17th c. essayist than most current fiction, but I'm also a child of the studio system so I still seem to suffer from cinephilia. Orphans of the Storm to My Winnipeg, I'm your man (yes, I love Leonard Cohen, too). Usual list of suspects in the arts. One could list anyone. But I'm most interested in someone who, perhaps like me, hasn't lost that spark of enthusiam for walking, talking . . . and all those other lovely things. Two fairly attractive people charming each other is much to be desired.
