Since everything these days seems to be done online, I figured I might as well join others and try meeting people through POF. I've been very fortunate to be surrounded by very genuine, positive, fun and good-hearted people in my life, and I have a great circle of friends, but I always enjoy meeting new people and making new friends :) I prefer to start as friends at the beginning, but ultimately, I'd like to find someone to be in a relationship with that has substance and would lead to something long-term... I just don't like or expect to rush into anything right away.

P.S. my handle is actually a reference to my outdoor interests, but I don't expect many to know where it came from (kudos to anyone who can guess, though).

Hmmm... something casual & comfortable to get to know each other with no strings attached. Maybe hang out and do something active, have some laughs... probably at my expense, then grab a bite or coffee after.
