I am a widow with 4 grown chidren and 4 grandbabies. I was in a happy marriage for 29 years until cancer took his life. I believe that communication, compassion as well as passion, trust, honesty, and manogamy are all the keys to a healthy relationship. I am looking for someone who also believes these things....maybe a widower.
Although I never finished high school, I feel I have a fair amount of intelligence and can hold my own in a conversation.
I am a caregiver by nature and have worked for 10 years in group homes for developmentally disabled adults. I enjoy this type of work.
I love country music and line dancing and took lessons for several months.
For some reason it says I am 59. Can't seem to change that but I am only 54. I have no idea how that happened. I am willing to try new things that my partner may enjoy. I have a good sense of humor and like to make people laugh. When people talk to me, I really listen....not just with my ears but with my eyes.
I love the beach and anything that has to do with the water. I like picnics, movies, walks on the beach, country drives, flea markets and yard sales, spending time with my family as we are very close.
I am most comfortable in a relationship and am hoping to find that again. I don't care how much money you have or about monetary things. I just want what's in your heart. I have come to realize that many people are not so willing to give of their hearts and that is really such a shame.

Hmmmm....I am pretty flexible. I guess just about anywhere where we can talk and get to know each other.
