About Me
Hello!
I'm on the move...again! I was in Florida for four years and have moved back to Indiana, so I'm going to have to play catch up on where to find good sushi. I miss Florida like crazy, so I'm hoping to make some new connections...
I'm grateful when football season is back up! I have withdrawals from the time the Colts lose in the post season, up until pre-season. Funny, but one of my best friends is a Patriots fan...I am also a basketball fan; I missed the Magic in the finals...and along the whole sports thing, I love going to baseball games, from little league games up to the pros.
Other things that interest me: boating. I love being on the water! What a great feeling to have the wind and sun on your face while cruising around on a lake.
I am a huge dog person. I have two soft coated wheaton terrier dogs that are my monsters. I also do volunteer work for the SPCA. I also enjoy other volunteer opportunities as well.
I love to travel and to see new places. I like to take my camera with me, but I really like to experience new things, meet new people, and learn more about my world. I am an avid reader and like to spend personal time with a good book. I also enjoy going out with friends and i also love to catch a concert. Will Hoge anyone???
I work in hospitality management and love my job. I have made some fantastic friends thru work and we do a lot of fun things as a group. I just started a new job in June, so I am still feeling my way around with that. I like the people I work for and those that work with me.
I work out about three times a week. Sometimes more, sometimes less. I'm not addicted to it, just enjoy the classes...I also work out with a personal trainer. I'm not into body building, just sculpting and defining.
A couple of things that I find attractive: good grammar and spelling...seriously. Also love to meet people that can carry their end of a conversation. That usually includes a sense of humor and a basic knowledge of current events. I'm big on mental attraction! I am a history nut, and a dream trip would be to Italy and Greece just for the ancient ruins (not exactly the same watching it on the History Channel or Discovery Channel, is it?)
Also, yes, I am single (never married) and don't have any kids. I have spent my adult life after college focused on my career, which had me moving everywhere from here to Florida with stops in North Carolina and other places, too. I am an avid non-smoker (which is a little funny as I work in hospitality and I am in the minority).
First Date
I think that a first date should be an opportunity to have a conversation and learn more about the other person. Having dinner and a glass of wine is a nice start...I like all kinds of food!
Maybe walking around an exhibit (art or a museum). There's lots of places to wander around and have a chance to get to know each other.
NcAmanda has 2 roses that can be sent.
