Thanks for noticing my profile, but I have found that this isn't really a good way to form lasting relationships. For now I am leaving my profile up so I can participate in the forums occasionally, and just in case any previous acquaintances want to contact me. I am still open to interacting occasionally, but not looking for a relationship at this time.

I enjoy doing lots of things and have numerous interests. I value my alone-time but I also really like meeting new people, especially from different cultures and backgrounds, trying new things and going to new places. I enjoy intelligent conversation and sharing of ideas. I like being around people from whom I can learn something and vice versa. Appearance and social status are not important to me. I love music (especially live), reading, cooking, gardening and enjoying nature and the outdoors. I like building things, growing things and hiking. I have been experiencing the joys of bonding with and training a young horse for the first time in my life. Life is very short and I hope to continue doing some of the things I have always wanted to do.

I am not really looking for a date. Just keeping my profile open in case someone I can actually relate to happens along. Good luck to the rest of you.
