I am a simply complicated man who is typically unique. Now, really - who can sum up who they are in a sentence, paragraph or even a book. Well, maybe a long novel if written well. Anyway, for those interested, some of the things that are true about me include the following:

I am very honest and sincere, but have lied many times.

I am very sensitive and caring, but have hurt other people.

I am a grown and mature man who sometimes acts as a child.

I rarely get angry or spiteful, but often become happy or sad.

I strive to be clear and direct, but am often misunderstood.

I love the company of others, but spend much of my free time alone.

I am happy with who I am, but constantly want to be better.

I fear that the world is going the wrong way, but do little to nothing to change it.

I love and respect all living things, but do not completely trust a one.

I want to share everything with someone, but keep most of it to myself.

I stay very busy and I like it that way. I do not watch TV and see very few movies because I prefer to spend my time in many other ways. I am very passionate about nature and natural beauty. I do not have any interest in sports as a spectator, but do enjoy playing many for fun. I am not very competitive at all, but I take pride in what I do. I am old-fashioned in many ways, but like to keep up with modern technology. I am not rich, but am completely independent and debt free and I live comfortably by myself. I am very generous and helpful to the people around me and have many friends who are almost as important to me as my family. I know a little about a lot of things and am pretty handy to have around. I love to try new things and am full of energy and lust for life. I feel young and adventurous and believe that I will live to be 100. I know it's hard to tell from my profile, but I do a pretty good job of cracking people up with a somewhat dry and witty humor and I enjoy it very much. I have issues and shortcomings as anyone does, but I continually realize them and attempt to correct them. I will never be perfect, but I will continue heading in that direction until I die.

I would like to spend as much of my time as possible just experiencing the good things of life with a woman who can love and cherish me infinitely. I need a woman who has a strong will to live and love and the energy to follow through with it. Someone who will continue to challenge, interest and motivate me as I will do for her.

On a first date, I would like to go somewhere beautiful, but practical like a park, restaurant or a river walk or beach. It would be important to me that we are both comfortable and able to easily talk. Maybe we could start out at a nice restaurant and then take a walk afterwards which could last as long as we both want it to. We would learn about each other while we interact with people and things around us. Of course, I would be very interested in knowing what my date would like to do and I am open to ideas she may have. I can make almost any experience an enjoyable one.
