My closest friends would probably say I am out-going, out-spoken, intelligent, and funny... or at least I hope that's what they would say. I am not so much into the bar and club scene anymore but I do it to stay young. Great conversation over dinner and wine with friends is more my speed. I am an animal lover at heart. I just rescued a shelter dog a few weeks ago and socializing her is my project for the summer and it has been so much fun! I also have two cats. I am aware this makes me a slight freak but the right guy for me loves it and has or wants just as many! It's cliche but I love all things summer. There is nothing like a blue raspberry slurpee after being on the beach for hours and hours. I am a Social Worker by profession so I am passionate about social consciousness, the greater good, current events and politics. Yoga is my favorite way to unwind and de-stress but it has taken a back seat to being outside with my new dog. My ipod has everything from DMB and Coldplay to TV on the Radio and Radiohead to Janes Addiction and Alice in Chains. Electronic and house music can send me into a murderous rage so I try to avoid it.

I think I covered all the important stuff. Then there is always the less important stuff like: I am 100% addicted to coffee, All my cars have been stick, I make a mean macaroni and cheese, I can read backwards, people watching is one of my favorite hobbies, and I think men who do yoga are sexy (but that is my no means a requirement).

I think first dates should be casual and low key. Meeting up for a drink or coffee is perfect.
