Ever been on a teeter-totter by yourself? Not much fun - you need someone to provide a counterweight, and thusly, balance. I'm looking for someone whose life is fairly well balanced, who can compliment my life and become my counterweight so we can teeter-totter to our hearts content. Dang, I miss teeter-tottering!

I am divorced and have two children (18 and 16). I have lots of hobbies such as golf, poker, reading, writing, cooking, baking, and playing chess, to name a few, and I like to ride bicycles, play co-rec volleyball, travel, exercise, and believe it or not, I actually don't mind going to work every day.

Obviously first dates can be tricky, and while this won't win any points for ingenuity, I like a movie on the first date. It gives me a chance to guage her sense of humor. If I'm laughing my butt off and she sits there stone-faced... it probably isn't going to work for me, regardless of the hotness factor.
