I’ve been on POF before, and have met some truly wonderful people. When I first joined, I wrote about how special I was and how differently I looked at life from everyone else. Problem was there’s no way to paint your soul in words – and I came off sounding just like one more self-aggrandizing guy hyping himself up.

I would like to think that I am just a bit more unique and real than that. If I'm actually fun and adventurous or a hopeless romantic then that is something you should find out by talking to me and not just reading my profile. It’s so hard to sum up who you are in just a few words – there are just no emotions or feelings (no spark) and people can type whatever they want.

So... a little about me. I have too many interests to ever list here – from sports, camping (anything outdoors) to theatre and the arts, fine dining and drinking a nice cab in front of my fireplace or on my deck. I am involved in sports and athletics on a regular basis, usually playing at least 3 times a week (the most fun way to stay in shape) – did I mention I’m a little competitive when playing LOL.

In many ways I am an old fashioned guy – manners and chivalry are an important part of my life...

I came to POF since I grew out of the bar scene years ago and am always open to new things. If I am meant to meet that special someone online then so be it.

Who Am I Hoping To Find?

1) Someone that could be my best friend

2) Someone who takes care of herself

3) Someone who is intelligent and aware and can challenge me

4) Someone that I can share my interests with and learn about hers

5) Someone that I can dress up with and enjoy fine dining and the arts – or dress down with and enjoy a campsite

6) Someone that can make me smile… and I will return the favour ;)

7) And lastly someone that believes in me and who I can believe in in return. There is nothing so inspiring as someone who believes in you...

Now - is that too much to ask? ;)

Under "Looking For" my profile notes Dating. That's because we all have to begin the journey of getting to know each other in the same place. I am ultimately, however, looking for a long-term relationship.

For me what is most important is an opportunity to connect and learn about each other - so drinks and pool, an art gallery, or even the cliche coffee and walk along the boardwalk (one of my favourites as I live in the Beaches :-)
