About Me
I live by the motto: Learn from the past, live in the present, and plan for the future. People have described me as a striking curvy blond with a twinkle in her eyes. If you lose me in a mall, you are most likely to find me either in a shoe store (it's a girl thing) or bookstore. I'm happiest when I'm near the water or on the ski slopes. I readily admit that I get my money's worth when I play, but I do enjoy playing golf when I can. I have a curious mind & a playful spirit. I recently found out how great kayaking can be. I enjoy live music and cultural events, particularly blues and jazz, & dancing, & on occasion I may even get up enough courage to sing. Day trips to Chicago, or along the lake shore happen frequently. I'm a Red Wings and a Wolverines fan, and I can be found getting lost in a bookstore for hours. I like to be active in my community though not at the expense of my family. I enjoy attending church. I appreciate someone who can be down to earth and kind to others. I would love to travel more in the future. A cruise to Alaska would be amazing, or a trip to the Mediterranean. Lifelong learning is a priority, and I appreciate someone who wants to keep learning and growing. I enjoy connecting with family & friends & helping others, meeting different people, learning new perspectives, and experiencing the natural world & its wonders. I am fortunate to do work that is not only very challenging but equally rewarding. While I can attract my share of attention based strictly on appearances, physically I am working my way back into being in good physical shape again and while my physical goals are extremely important to me, they are by no means my top priority in life. So, if you are in need of physical perfection now, then don't bother to contact me as I am still on the journey back to fitness. However, if you can be supportive of my goals and maybe even join me, then we might have a chance to connect. Overall, I'm looking for someone to enhance my life, not take it over, and I'm ready for a fresh start.
