I'm passionate about social justice, the environment and education. I love my job, it is very rewarding to see kids struggle with a skill and then see them get it. They are pleased with their accomplishment and it expands their idea of themselves.
I belong to a film group, we get together over wine to discuss a movie....great fun. My interests are varied. I like to hike, down-hill ski, bike and travel.
I went to Guatemala this summer and helped out at an orphanage and I also went down to Cape Breton to enjoy the music. An author I enjoy reading is David Lodge (English), he writes about the brevity of life with humour and a light touch.
My friends would say I'm passionate, affectionate, caring and loyal. I'm thankful for my two sons, they are a big part of my life also I'm thankful for good health and a loving and caring family.
