I'm a fairly easygoing teacher in Denver, after moving from Tucson, AZ, originally from the S.F. Bay Area. I donate blood regularly and donate money to PBS and NPR. I live alone with my dog. I enjoy all kinds of music (thank goodness for streaming Internet radio). I divide my time between teaching, spending time with my dog, working on my vehicles (a couple of older cars, scooter, and motorcycle), and diversions such as listening to music and watching movies. I'm not sure what it says about my personality, but whenever I eat something I try to make the last bite the best/most representative. For example, if it's a chocolate chip cookie that last bite should have the ideal proportion of chips! I'm looking for an outgoing, intelligent, short woman with a great smile. That's vague enough, but obviously there needs to be chemistry for it to become more than a friendship :-) Actually, friends are good (I joined the free http://meetin.org and have started attending events with a great group of people).

I'd see something safe, such as meeting for coffee, as a reasonable first date. That way there's an easy out but also the possibility of spending more time together (dinner) if hitting it off.
