I have been spending the largest part of my adult life raising my daughter. Now that she's 20 and out on her own, it's my turn now! I have a great group of friends but I want to find the love of my life. Yes, I am a romantic, but I'm also a realist with a little dose of cynicism. Sorry, it just kind of comes with the territory of dating my share of the wrong guys. My friends and I have discussed the "ideal man" many times and my favorite answer is this: I want a man, a real man. The kind of man that steps up to what's needed, stands up for what he believes in and while he isn't threatened by me having a strong personality is man enough that he makes me want to let him lead the way. Now guys, if that sounds like I'm asking a lot, I guess maybe I am. But I've dealt with enough game players, head cases, and jellyfish spines. I like watching sports, especially Alabama football (ROLL TIDE), love reading just about any type of fiction. If I go to a club I'll dance with you but I'd rather play pool with you. I'm a low maintenance kind of woman. Yes, I can dress up for any occasion that warrants it. You can take me pretty much anywhere and I'll make you proud to have me on your arm. But when it comes right down to it, I just like being comfortable with someone that makes me smile.
