I'm an artist by nature and profession (illustrator of a bunch of things, plus author of the critically acclaimed book "Dimensions Behind the Twilight Zone" - you can find me online at twilightzone dot org). I'm currently learning Japanese for a trip to Japan in July.

I tend to think of myself as a cool cat, masculine, sensitive, caring, open, quite a comic yet serious, intelligent, mature, self-confident, modest, total music-freak (yeah, I'm a bit of a rocker-geek), plays acoustic guitar most every night (elec. Strat when possible), enjoys real communication (philosophical discussions, goofy stories or the complete silence of gazing into each others eyes), !companionship!, !adult play!, cooking, reading, old/new/independent films, sitting in a cafe sketching in a journal, writing (novel, free-flowing poetry), and drinking silly coffee drinks. I enjoy hiking, camping, nature (was a ranch-hand, tended 14 sheep and 2 goats between '00-'02) beaching, skiing, kiting, mountain biking, inline skating, occasional night of bowling or shooting pool (however, I don't like guns... ba dum bum;). I'm kind of old fashion, pride myself on having manners, yet speak my mind and have a great sense of humor. Der! I'm a retro kind of character who likes to be creative, and yet is spiritual (not religious), a mature man who happens to keep the 'kid' alive inside. I use my brain, a very truthful man, never a cheater, I say it like it is and prefer a woman who is likewise. As a women friend of mine told me recently, "you're gorgeous and deep." I prefer to think of myself as real.

Ideal Woman: SOMEONE ON A SIMILAR WAVELENGTH, or at least in the ballpark. Someone I can fall for and lose myself in, but I'm not looking for someone to complete or complete me, for we complete ourselves. A grrrl who likes many forms of art, has some things in common, someone who can enjoy watching an old B movie or an old Dracula flick or a night out listening to loud prog-metal bands just as easily as going to an art museum or the theater, someone who can easily wear worn jeans one day and a dress the next, someone not afraid to get her feet wet, no affected women, definitely no Striesand sap! An intelligent woman, with a nice figure, someone who cares what she puts in her body and is physically compatible with me. Someone intellectually available, emotionally stable, and sexually compatible... va va va vooom;)

Oh, just a couple of 'oops' about this silly online dating thingy: If you're nice enough to extend a communication to me, please have a photo(s) of yourself on your profile, it's only fair;) Oh, and if you describe yourself as being an 'occasional' smoker, got news for ya, you're a smoker. No offense, but ICK! Also, just because a 400 pound sumo wrestler may BE considered an "athlete", doesn't necessarily mean the sumo's body type is 'athletic'... ahem.

Update: They say 'location, location, location,' and that may be all so true, because, apparently, I'm not finding 'her' over here. Why I moved over here from the Bay Area defies logic! UGH!!! Ok, sorry to rant, but YOU try being a city mouse in hell! LOL!!! Where's Bettie Page when you need her? Definitely not over here, that's for sure!

Casual, meet at a cafe, talk, socialize... if interest is had and the evening continues, maybe we venture for a scrumptious sushi dinner...
