Hello, my name is Mike and I am 58 but no one ever suspects it since I am extremely active, widowed many years ago (1996) and my last serious relationship since ended shortly after the hurricane Wilma ripped the rest of my life apart. I am a fun and loving guy. I have a little mini ranch in western Broward in the lovely Town of Southwest Ranches. It's a quiet little place with no street lights and the sounds of crowing chickens and peacocks ... also in search of a mate, I suppose. The ranch is called KALM Acres so I chose NotSoKalm as my DateHookUp name since I really am very active. This place requires a lot of work to maintain but it also keeps me in shape. I basically live alone except for the my 20 yr old daughter that attends FAU in Boca. Actually, I am never alone, I have many mouths that depend upon me, four horses, one cow, quail, three barn cats, three inside (kennel) dogs and one inside/outside roaming cat.

I go to church but not every weekend, I am not a fanatic but enjoy having faith. I am not perfect, I have cussed people in traffic just like you do, I try to keep my middle finger unloaded at all times but there have been times where it has flown right out my window. I screw up, make mistakes and learn from them. It takes a lot to get me mad, it is a feeling I don't like at all so I get past it pretty quick. I love life, it has been good to me in many ways, hard in other ways. I have very blue eyes, a gentle smile and most of my teeth, well, some of them are removable but there are no noticeable gaps. I honestly do enjoy life and you should do the same so we can enjoy each other.

I have been employed by the federal court system since 1991 when I moved to Florida from Virginia. I still consider myself a southern gentleman. I enjoy rides to the beach for a beer or dinner although I'm not much of sun worshiper, given the lack of hair. Being the typical over 55 single man, I did buy the Corvette convertible, a sassy red 1988 with 58,000 miles.

So, if you are still interested, are weight proportionate to height, drop me a note WITH A PICTURE and we can go from there. I can handle a overweight because we all are but I am not physicaly attracted to huge women. If there is no physical attraction there is no reason. Obviously, you must not be a couch potato, should probably be younger than me or at least have the strength and stamina to hang in there with me, love life and animals for this to work long term, which is my goal. I work very hard but I play just as hard!I am looking for a life partner ... someone to share everything with but I have no qualms giving you the space to do your own thing ... I can do mine at the same time. I am comfortable alone ... Life is better when I am part of a couple ... care to join me ... ? To put it in fishing terms ... I am not here just trolling around .. I am hoping for one nice fish on my hook ... not a catch n release ... so if you are not looking for the same or are scared of sharp points ... please don't tug my line! Oh, one last thing ... it really helps if you are in my part of the sea so we can spend more time together instead of riding to the fishing hole. I have lots of female friends that I can be entertained with but so far ... no magical love attraction. I enjoy chick flicks, will shed a tear at the Star Spangled Banner and most of life's tragedies.

A reasonably quiet but public setting to start with, sharing a favorite beverage or a light meal, followed by a nice walk rather it be on the Hollywood boardwalk, town center in Weston, or Los Olas, and if the chemistry is right, share something fun ... dancing or a ocean front hotrod cruise on A1A.
