Adventurous, cultured, well-traveled, artistic, artsy, cosmopolitan, eclectic, stylish, playful, open-minded, independent, intelligent, sincere, easy-going. Some say I'm an anomaly. My appearance is deceiving, as I have a polished look with an artsy flair of my own. Underneath it all, I can rough it with the best of them. I took a year off and traveled Southeast Asia. If you think I stayed in 5-star hotels, you guessed wrong. My usual lodging was a bug-infested hut with no plumbing! Please note, bug-free lodging is much preferred these days. I'm passionate about the city b/c I thrive on cultural experiences including dining, art, music, films, architecture, people, etc. My tastes tend not to be main stream, as I opt to seek out the little no-name restaurant or obscure film. I'm a little quirky, so that's something you'll have to appreciate. It's the idiosyncrasies and creativity in people and in life which I enjoy most. Some of my favorite actors are Steve Buscemi, Phillip Semour Hoffman, Denis Leary, and James Spader. A few of my favorite films are Ma Vie en Rose, Amelie, Fargo, and don't forget Spinal Tap. Is that so wrong? I definitely lean toward Indie music as well, although I love Latin and other world music also. Basically, if you appreciate a dry sense of humor, I'll make you laugh. I'm pretty certain you'll enjoy my company and may you never say I'm boring.

Someone who is my best friend, my intellectual equal, and has a good sense of humor. He will know how to make light of the seriousness of life and is able to laugh at himself. He's a people-person who fits in well with my family. I am no daddy's girl by any means, but my family is truly the best. My special person should be so lucky to be inducted into such a warm, friendly, and entertaining family. I prefer a creative person, ranging anywhere from the arts, writing, or music.
