I am too many things to sum up in a few paragraphs.........

What defines us are
the choices that we make.
It's how we choose to live,
it's what we give,
and what we take.
And weather we choose to see the light,
or fumble through the dark,
the way we choose to love,
is the way we leave our mark.

Hello, my name is Tanya. I am a 35 year old female. I am a certified photographer from Santa Barbara. I am a passionate, loving woman, who is just waiting for a man who is equally as passionate about his life, and his love for me, as I am for him. I have never been married, because I am holding out for the one who is going to sweep me off my feet. I still believe he is out there, and I also believe I will know it when I meet him, or at least when I get to know him. I believe that life is not about the amount of breaths you take, it's about the moments that take your breath away. I also believe that you should never judge a book by it's cover. I believe that something that is meant to be, will always find a way. I believe in the type of love that will take my breath away, and be like a breath of fresh air at the same time. I love to laugh, I believe that laughter is good for the soul, and we should never take ourselves so seriously that we can't laugh in spite of everything we're going through. I have a love of music, art, and creative expression. I believe that it is the universal language that connects us all, and lets us know that we are not alone. I was giving a lot of thought one day, to the question "who are you?", and I came up with the poem below........

Who I am:

I'm an image in your mind,
And a hope that's in your heart.

I'm an undiscovered treasure,
And a priceless work of art.

I'm the beauty buried just below
the bruises that you see.

I'm the feelings I try not to show.
I'm an unsolved mystery.

I'm a familiar face, you've never seen,

I'm a stranger you've always known.

I'm a distant place you've never been,
that makes you feel at home.

I'm the reflection that you see,
that reminds you of someone else.

I'm the part of you that you find in me,
when your looking at yourself.

I'm a song you've never heard before
I'm an open book you've never read.

I'm a thought that you just can't ignore
I'm the words you've never said.

I'm everything you never knew
you wanted all along

I'm the one who knows that when I'm with you,
I'm right where I belong.

I'm a chance worth taking,
I'm a choice worth making,

I'm a diamond in the rough.

I'm a truth worth believing,
I'm a gift worth receiving

And I am so much more than enough
