Well, I've been on POF for a few days now and I am amazed at the number of great catches on this site! Internet dating has a totally unfounded stigma, in my book anyway.
I've done a little browsing and even some chatting so far and I'm pretty excited about this whole thing...who knows, I may even find myself a long term relationship! That would be pretty nice. And that brings me to the part of my profile where I tell you what I'm looking for...
Firstly, I'd like to say that I'm not looking for anything in a woman that I myself can't supply in return.
I'd like to meet someone that is successful in life, intelligent and articulate. Someone that has strong family ties and the desire to be surrounded by friends and loved ones. In addition, I'd love to meet someone that is very positive and outgoing in nature...even 'bubbly'!
I myself have a career that I totally love, a family that I'm pretty close to even though we live in different cities and over all I'd have to say that I've got things pretty damn good because I've worked very hard to make things that way. The only thing missing is someone to compliment my personality. Someone a lot like myself but only much, much prettier! Someone fun to hang out with, travel with and to get off of POF with!
I'm a sucker for blondes and since I keep myself in great shape I find I'm also attracted to athletic or fit/thin women.

UPDATE:
I've made a couple observations lately...
1 ) When writing a message to someone, don't be afraid to use the smiley face or the 'lol' thing when joking or teasing. Some people don't think things are funny unless you point it out to them with the previously mentioned devices. : )
2) Women think it's cute that they are a 'contradiction of terms'. Go ahead and read some women's profiles...it's in there! Girls want you (men) to think that they are very complicated. And unfortunately....they are. lol!
3) There are SOME women on here that have about four words in their bios. and 2 of them are spelled wrong. Yet, they are on about 200 favourites lists. (Hey...I said 'some' women).
4) If a guy wants to be on a favourites list...he's got to be 'the whole package'. And to women that means no topless bio. photos, impeccable grammar/spelling, and long witty messages. You can't just write a girl and say...'you're cute, want to talk'?

Update Number 2!!
I've had the opportunity to chat with some really, really interesting and fun people over the last little while and I've even had the chance to go for drinks with a few.
At the risk of perhaps upsetting people or maybe blackballing myself i'm going to add one more 'observation' to my previous list! : ) Please keep in mind the 'smiley face'! lol.
5) Never trust a woman with profile photos that include her wearing hats.
As off the wall and completely unrelated as this may sound...women that wear hats on their POF profiles are really weird people in person.
I'm not talking the 'occasional' base ball cap. I mean women that wear fedoras or berets.
Firstly, nobody should wear either of these items but women least of all. : ) To all you men out there...you've been warned. Kind of a moot point I suppose since only women will ever read this profile, but there you have it.
