At a tender young age of 5 I had all my hopes and dreams crushed when I found out that Batman was in fact *not* a real person. Despite that early trauma, I lived on.

Of all things... I have the most profound love for food. I love to cook, I love to experiment with flavor, I love to be in the kitchen. One of the best things about cooking is that it is never the same twice... even when you follow the recipe to the letter.

My music tastes are about as wide as my cooking tastes, but to name a few... I can't live without Rufio, Bayside, Taking Back Sunday, The Sounds, Imogen Heap, Shiny Toy Guns, The Killers, Amy Studt, Motion City Soundtrack, CIWWAF, Cartel, and I am probably forgetting a million more.

Overall, I tend to have a unique outlook on life. You will never find me without good advice to give you, a witty thing to say, or a joke to make you smile when you feel down. I am a very honest person, and faithful as well.

I am looking for a girl that will be herself when she is around me. One that will put her phone on silent while we are together, one that will enjoy a spontaneous trip down to the boardwalk at 1am.

I am a sucker for good television, but I rarely watch it on the TV. You are likely to find me waiting until i can grab a full season box set of a TV show before i start to really watch it. I really love Bones, Scrubs, Cake Boss, Ace of Cakes, Iron Chef, and Chopped. I would really love to get a job in a bakery and learn how to make some of the extravagant cakes I see on TV.

One of my major aspirations in life is to own my own restaurant. I have quite a few crazy, wacky, practical, simple, elegant ideas bubbling up in my head, and one day i want to try one of them out.

When I have the spare time, I enjoy reading a good book. I cannot stand being in the middle of a great book and having to put it down. I just recently finished reading the first book that the TV show "True Blood" is based off of, and I loved it.

What I am interested in finding in a woman is simple:
Someone who can dress up and go out, or be just as fine staying in on the couch.
Someone with a passion for food, or at least eating it.
Someone who can go out and try a new cuisine from a different culture instead of pizza or a burger.
Someone who doesn't have to schedule everything. I like a little bit of chaos, its great to be spontaneous in a relationship.
