I'm from the maritimes origionally and came to Ottawa for work. I work for the federal government and am settled in my career. I'm looking for someone with potential for a long term relationship. I would like a family at some point down the road but not in the near future. I enjoy relaxing after work by cruising the country roads by motorcycle. I used to ride horses for a few years and enjoyed that although I don't have my own horse and haven't ridden recently. I am of Irish/Scottish decent and love celtic music and culture. I have been to Ireland once briefly and loved it and am interested to go back and see Scotland as well. I play bagpipes in a band and enjoy highland games and festivals. I have tried this site on and off a few times over the years and have managed to meet some nice and interesting people and dated for awhile. I just haven't managed to find that perfect match for me yet but I'm hopeful.

I don't mind chatting a bit online to try and get to know someone a little better but I really prefer to just get out and meet face to face over anything from a coffee or drinks on a patio or dinner at a restaurant. I'm open to suggestions as well and not affraid to try new things.
