I am an American woman who has lived in Canada for over 35 years. I was once married for over 30 years. It has been 7 years since it ended and I dont regret that it did one bit. We are both fine with our descisions and so are the children.
My antiscendants are Irish and French. I speak both English and French fluently.
I am a former Chef of French Cuisine. Although retired from cooking, I still love to cook for family and friends. I am also a butcher. So if I were lost in the woods I would do just fine as long as I had a good knife lol Mind you, I dont intend to do that any time soon lol
I have a great sense of humor and love to find it in everyday things. I am optimistic and outgoing. I have a great deal of patience. I don't like to argue and would rather discuss things to find a win/win solution.

I would say the thing that makes me a bit unique is that I am a genuine person who cares for others. I have alot of love to give. I guess I'm a combination of old fashioned and modern woman.
I have 2 grown children, 3 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. They are all the jewels in my crown. My wonderful legacy to the world.
For interests and Passtimes I like cooking of course, gardening,bbq, smoking meat, then there is also my love of flea markets to find old kitchen tools, I love darts and bowling, biking,camping and swimming, tennis and volleyball. I love old cars and motorcycles.Would like to do some traveling some day. I read Isaac Asimov and Stephen King. My favorite film was Braveheart. I have very eclectic tastes in music. My mother was a country singer, my brother could play just about any instrument and sing as well. So I grew up with music. My dad was career Army so I am an Army brat lol Not too bratty I hope lol
I love children, elderly people and animals. I get along well in all social situations due to the vagabond life of an army brat being moved over and over lol
I am not a religious person going to church every Sunday but I do live by a fixed set of morals and values. I do not go for one night stands. After saying all that I must admit that I am very open to the world around me and accept other's choices of lifestyle as long as it doesnt put something in my life I dont want there. I am adventurous and spontaneous in my personal life. I dont mind public demonstrations of affection. Intimacy is very important to a well rounded relationship.
