Hello there. I’m an active and successful guy who’s looking for a girl that shares my interests, passions, and spirit of life (hopefully my humor too!). I am a single father of 3 boys. Two are grown and out of the house, one working and one is in college and my youngest (12) lives with me pretty much full time. He’s my priority so we’re a package deal. You won’t likely find me in the gym, I prefer doing my exercise in the privacy of my home, or better yet, doing something physically active outside. I enjoy hiking, swimming, running (especially if I’m going to see or do something interesting and new), camping, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and just plan exploring and being out in nature. However, I'm not a crunchy granola type but I appreciate people who are. I'm conservative politically but I'm also a "tree hugger" when it comes to protecting the environment. I love to have a good time, but on the flip side I’m a successful engineering manager working in the aerospace industry (how is that for diversity?). To be up-front and offer full disclosure - My faults are (so I'm told): Doing too many home improvement projects and yard work (very physical but productive activities); I involved myself in too many of my kid’s activities and community volunteer events; and I can be opinionated (but I certainly know I'm not always right). Some of my good qualities are, I’m passionate (in the full sense of the word); loving, caring, sensuous, considerate, full of life, hard working, entertaining (a bit wild at times), artistic, family oriented; and not a bad looking guy. I love people and being social (not a party animal but I'm usually the last one to leave one). I thrive on challenges and recognize that life is a journey, and that things happen for a reason. I like intelligent women who also have a fun, spontaneous side… a woman who loves to laugh and make me laugh; who knows who she is… a woman that is confident, loyal, appreciative, honest, honest, honest, and has integrity…a woman that is not afraid of challenges and is willing to explore new places and new things. I do like adventure but not stupid danger. But then again I thoroughly enjoy a quiet evening at home enjoying a glass of wine and each other, or a night out on the town! I just love to kiss and "snuggle" (not a guy thing I know, but too bad for the rest of them).
