I'm new to the area and would like to meet someone special who can make the "normal" dating activities feel special. I'm a nice, non-judgmental guy who has a positive attitude about life and takes pleasure in simple things like cooking together, a walk in the woods or a romantic conversation over a bottle of wine. I'm not impressed nor motivated by material things and if your looking for a guy to wow you with "things" I'm not your guy. I put more value in experiences and relationships (for example I took a year off and taught English in South America in 2007). Well, first date is the operative here. I think meeting for a drink (liquid courage) or coffee is a pretty good way to get to know someone. If there is a spark it will be evident and that's when the imaginative dating ideas kick in. If a second date is called for then the sky is the limit...
