Humm let me see... I am very involved at my church and love to help out in different ministries. I am an easy going, friendly, honest, genuine, affectionate, and responsible person with a fun side to me. I love to dance and plan to take some classes in the near future...still looking for a good partner to do that with.


I love doing anything outdoors. I like taking walks, going to the park, zoo, hiking, camping, sitting by a fire while listening to someone play a guitar, taking day trips and sight seeing. I like to watch the sun set and rise. I like to listen to the rain and watch the storm. I enjoy hearing the birds sing and the leaves turn colors. I love nature...appreciate simple things. You might even see me catching walk barefooted in the grass when it's wet, and not shy away from the rain. I am still waiting to have someone to make a snowman with and play in the fallen leaves with.

I also enjoy spending time with my close friends. I go bowling, or out to dinner with them occasionally as well.

As much as I like spending time with good company I also cherish quiet evenings. I will watch a movie while wrapped up in a blanket or the sofa. I'd love to sit by the fire with someone special and listening to music. A good conversation is appreciated as much as cuddling up and just "being".

No, I'm not a perfect person and have some dislikes. I don't like olives, spinach, or tofu. I don't like to shop, especially for clothing. I am not a "pain" to go shopping with...am actually helpfully I’ve been told- just don't like to do it. I don't like it when people are late as I hate waiting. If you are running late have the courtesy to let me know. I don't like it when people lie or are dishonest. There is no reason to lie in a good relationship, and if you feel the need to, just talk about it- I'd like to think that I am very understanding. I'm not big on seafood or sweets. However, I will have both at times. I love to cook.

My match would be someone who loves the outdoors as much as I do, is honest, genuine, affectionate (I believe in the power of touch), loving, caring, responsible, confidant, and complements me on the above. Loving children and being family oriented is a must!!!

Having said all of the above, what I'm looking for is someone who is real, someone who is not into playing games or looking for any gains. I'm looking for someone who is independent, knows what they want from life, and has their act together. I am beginning to question if healthy relationships do exist. I guess I'm still quietly hoping that there is a Miss right somewhere out there so if you're it and can prove it to me take on the challenge and sweep me off my feet...and no I'm not looking to get married after the first date. I want to go on dates and get to know you and allow for you to get to know me. I want to have a decent friendship first as I believe it is a very important component to have a healthy relationship and a strong foundation for it. If you don't have yourself together please don't bother as I will not allow to have my life interrupted and thrown off balance, because I am very independent and content with just myself. Sorry to sound so harsh but the last few connections I thought I made didn't turn out as I hoped.
