I am where I want to be... I am hiking along the shoreline or snorkeling along the coral reefs. I am walking Hadrian’s Wall or following a mountain trail. It may be raining out or another golden Southern California day. The pace might be hectic--a downtown subway station at rush hour, or relaxed--with newspaper, red wine, and cheese. My mind is uncluttered with complex thoughts, biased opinions, or negative attitudes... Most of these things I enjoy I do so with camera in hand, recording these experiences to show with others, or to provoke fond memories of past adventures. They encourage me to plan future travels and reminisce a little, of growing up in England and embarking on my life in the U.S. The wealth of life is sharing these encounters with others and giving them reason to pause a while and reflect upon their own lives. I am most where I want to be when I am there with family and close friends.
