Thank you for looking at my profile. I won't expound on my positive attributes here, you can decide that for yourself if we happen to meet. I will say that I'm quiet, laid back, and open to suggestion as the headline says. I tend to think of myself as an average guy but that depends on your idea of average. I make no outrageous demands and expect the same in return.

I enjoy walking around in the woods, as many times that's where my profession leads me. I’m a retired land surveyor and live alone. I prefer quiet times at home, but can step out into the night life on occasion and enjoy it. I enjoy mountain biking (the pedaled kind, not powered) and would like to spend some time with someone who also enjoys such simple pleasures (but not necessarily biking).

I would love the company of a woman that has a good outlook on life and finds herself attracted to me. I am seriously looking for a mutual friendship and companionship of a woman near my age for a permanent relationship. If you are reading this because I added you to my favorites list and you think you might be interested then please drop me a note and I will reply. If you don’t then just delete yourself from my list and I’ll do the same for you if I find myself on your favorite’s list and find no interest.

But nothing is set in stone. If we "click" emotionally and spiritually, then the sky's the limit. You just never know, so let's give it a shot.

I think meeting somewhere relatively quiet, but still in a public place, where we can talk and get to know each other a little. Perhaps a quiet restaurant or public park, where a basis of communication can be established. Effective communication is vital to a successful relationship, without it there is no relationship.
