I am a guitarist, recording engineer, producer, and aspiring photographer. All of these skills I use to play in, record, and promote my hard rock band, Flight Case Syndrome. I also work 7 days a week on a swing shift at a paper mill, so my free time is limited, but I'm always willing and able to make time for a special someone if the situation arises. I'm fairly intense and blunt (i.e. I wear my heart on my sleeve and take honesty to the point of brutality... sometimes.). I'm quite intelligent (or so I'm told), and never one to give up on something I set my mind to accomplish, no matter how long it takes! And I am one of the rare guys who is actually able to express his emotions in a manner other than getting annihilated over a case of beer and pounding his fists into anything that moves. Though, I do have a weak spot for good dark beer. Oh, and I have a tattoo of a gargoyle on my upper right arm. (Some people dig tattoos, others don't, so I figured I'd share that tidbit.)

I'm looking for a woman who is independent, extremely intelligent, and has goals set for herself. You don't have to be the most outgoing person in the world, but at least be able to express yourself. Also, having similar interests, I feel, is important, but having too much in common can make things stale over time. Be open, be honest, and the rest should take care of itself.

Going out for a drink is usually a good way to get to know someone. It allows for easy conversation, and people-watching at bars can be quite entertaining. Plus, a beer or two is a good way to calm those first-date nerves.
