| | I really would like to meet someone compatible with both physical and internal chemistry for a progressive friendship/companionship that can possibly ease into something more significant and meaningful in time.
I like to spend my free time doing fun things and it would be much more enjoyable if there was someone to "hang out" with. It really doesn't matter what we do, as long as we enjoy being with each other.
I get along with just about anyone. Very down to earth, laid back, free spirited, understanding, easy going, spontaneuos, adventurous, playful and humorous. We can never incorporate too much laughter in our daily lives. Laughter is so healthy.
I embrace expression, affection, romance, passion and appreciate the simple things.
Since I'm now semi-retired, my current work schedule allows a certain amount of spontaneity and flexibility which I take full advantage of. I've had the privilege of experiencing extensive travel worldwide and so have been exposed to diversity and culture.
It's somewhat strange to sit here and write about myself. I feel in the course of conversation it's much easier to get to know someone in depth rather than reading what they wrote in this limited amount of space.
I'm ready and eager to meet someone to start a new and exciting beginning and see where it leads.

First meetings tend to be quite awkward, at least for me. I'm quite comfortable speaking on the phone to exchange pleasantries and sort of break the ice which makes it so much easier when you actually meet. Although I really don't enjoy typing as a means of communication in this context [for many reasons], there are always exceptions. I'm very understanding and will correspond with someone until a comfort level is established. When we do decide to meet, I personally think first meetings should be very casual and relaxed...not getting into anything elaborate or committing oneself to spending time unless/until there is a mutual interest. If there is a connection and attraction, then there are a cadre of fun and enjoyable things to do in the course of time. I don't consider a first meeting as a date. It really isn't the meeting place, rather it's the meeting. |
