Hi,

Call me Jacquie, I live just west of Yuba City and enjoy a semi-rural lifestyle. I was married for 18 years and am now a widow. Didn't ask for my freedom, but here I am, a free bird and lord I would like to change that, but I'm not in a hurry. I just miss sharing life, good and bad, with someone. I love camping and hiking and backwoods crawling, I'm not a city slicker. But I can hold my own in the cultural world as well. I like going to "THE CITY"- San Francisco, once in a while. A 3 day weekend there is always a hoot! Road trips are my fancy and I am good & ready for a long one right now. How 'bout you?

I've spent my career as a retail nursery manager and landscape designer and as a truck driver. I have a passion for plants, growing things, watching and helping life develop. I enjoy gardening big time, and love helping other folks with thier gardens.

Musically, I am quite eclectic: love the oldies and can't help but sing along. Just like that great Byrd's song 'Turn,Turn,Turn' there is a time for everything under the sun. From Zydeco, Ska and reggae to those great Roger's and Hammerstein's musicals, Blues, and Cole Porter. Can't get enough! I enjoy going out for karaoke now and then too.

I'd like to make it clear that integrity in a man is important to me, while a good sense of humor and fun are important character traits (cus I love to have fun!), integrity is a critical quality in my opinion. Looks are so unimportant: bald, hairy, very slim, overweight, big ears, crooked nose, bad teeth, that is all fine. You are still Mr. Handsome and gorgeous to me if you prove to have honesty, integrity, sincerity; those are the qualities that I look for in a person. Are you out there? I do believe it is possible.
