I spend part of nearly every day in doing research related volunteer work and you would need to at least understand that, and preferably be doing something like it for your own passion.

I am chemically sensitive, meaning I can't tolerate perfumes and fragranced laundry stuff, cleaning products etc like other people do. There would be a learning curve for you so you wouldn't make me sick, but I have friends who have done it and you'll wind up healthier in the long run too. For me it's a non negotiable subject out of necessity. I'm a very reasonable, cooperative win-win, collaborative person except in this area, and it's because any semblance of a "normal" life requires me to absolutely, without fail, avoid the specific chemicals that make me sick.

Being single sucks. Those of you who think it's so great, I don't get. Life is short and I want to enjoy it with someone. I've met a lot of friends here, but now it's time to ramp it up a bit. If you're serious contact me, if you're exploring like a teenager, don't.

I don't dance so if that's important to you, pass me by. I'd love to but I can't anymore. Same thing with travel, spas, the wine and country club lifestyle and the need to be on the go go go. No thanks. I'm a stay at home type, partly because I have to, and partly because I like to. You can be on the go all the time, but not me. The only places I like to go consistently are any beach and any other beach, Wyoming's back country--snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, or up in the Sierras. Traveling in a motor home or short day trips I like, but no hotels or motels for me and no Bed and Breakfasts. I like exploring weird out of the way places, not tourist traps, with the exception of Disneyland, where I will go any day or night. I love words, especially plays on words, reading, music. How vacuous the life without words and music and passion.

You get bonus points for not living in a city or large community, for being LDS or at least true to your own faith, and especially for being actively involved in a cause, whether it's farming, ranching, as a researcher, professor, teacher ... You have to understand a life of service both to the world at large and to each other in a couple relationship.
