Well travelled, well read, over-educated and quite well rounded with enough sophistication to traverse most social boundaries with ease. Not an egomaniacal alpha male, but fairly alpha-esque in a subdued manner. Following multiple careers with enough high-profile aspects, am now very interested in elements existing well below the radar, as it were.

6.1', athletic and still very active, enjoys (very much) anything around the ocean, the arts (no, really, all of them....ok, don't care for opera), outdoor activities, dogs, horses, fishing and particularly offshore fishing.

I prefer not to judge myself for other's sake as it seems too contradictory for someone who really doesn't take life, or himself, all that seriously. Perhaps both are so......naturally exhibit the ethereal and sensual elements of a alpha personality. It is imperative to find laughter within even the darkest elements and I will find a great deal of your soul within your ability to embrace laughter. Nothing is more compelling than a woman's smile.

I am, and have been many, many things and now, I am all of them as one. The quest is for someone I have yet to find that can embrace the myriad of facets that serve to define me. Somewhat mercurial, but fiercely loyal to those few whom would be permitted within. May not always know what he wants, but grasps enough of the parameters to know what he doesn't desire. A true libertine for designer clothes who vehemently argues the difference between elegant tailoring and the merely over-priced, yet wanders the beaches in the simplest of attire. Eminently comfortable within the confines of the stuffiest protocol, yet can, and does, communicate well with the lowliest of life forms, (after all, I IS one). Politically sardonic and cautiously prejudicial against all groups of humans without judgement based on race, creed, color, but of human nature and hidden agenda. Emphatically prefers the intrinsic values of one on one..

I have been told, more than once, that I fish too much....just so you know, it's not likely to change anytime soon. Forewarned is forearmed.

My Ideal Person:
Looking for friendship and perhaps the rest will come after that. I have no preconceived notions as to how first meetings may end up. Expect to have some email discourse at the very least. I will be honest and photos will be recent. Should you receive contact from me, it will be only after I have read your profile with great care and therefore have the idea that there could perhaps be something of value for both parties.
