I am looking for someone with similar interests to communicate with initially and eventually might lead to meeting and getting to know that person. I am coming out of a long term relationship and we are great friends so now it is time to move on. I have a very time consuming career and know that there is more to life than a job. So essentially I am looking for someone of the opposite sex to become friends with and who knows where things will go from there? As well I am allergic to animals so anyone I become friends with would need to know this as I am unable to be around dogs at all and cats aren't as bad, I am fond of animals but can't be around them. I enjoy life and would enjoy sharing it with someone I'm comfortable with.

A first date to me would be perhaps in a coffee shop over a chai latte or coffee getting to know a little about that person in a open and lively environment. A first date should be about getting to know someone and should be an open forum for both people to feel comfortable and as at ease as you can ever be on a first date.
