SO...I love to have a great time...talking, laughing, learning new things is the best! I love to travel and have recently put more efforts into doing so. I have a degree in English, I am going into secondary education to teach high school...and am really excited about it. I intend to get my Master's degree to, at some point, teach community college. I am interested in hanging out, having fun and getting to know like-minded individuals. I love the theatre...I love music-mostly R&B, but I like a lot of different artists- Pink is my favorite. I write poetry, I love going to the movies- all kinds, Braveheart rocks!- I love to dance...I would do it professionally if that opportunity ever came my way! I'm a real person and am not interested in drama.I have realized that life is way too short to settle...I don't know if this site will allow me to meet Mr Right, but some good conversation and laughs never hurt anyone- oh, did I mention I love to laugh and to make other's laugh? I pay attention to details; birthdays are a big deal to me, so I make sure to know my friends' as well- I dabble in astrology... and find it interesting. I have two orange cats named Cheddar and Feta--those are my kids, so if you're allergic...??I love to be entertained!I equally love to entertain...I like to cook... I like to snuggle...I give great hugs that I mean...I am, and have, great friends who mean a lot to me.



What do I want in a significant other? I think it's so funny how many of the people on this site talk about being down to earth, and real, but then list working out or going to the gym as a must have in a mate...what does that have to do with being a good boyfriend/girlfriend, or person?...so, for me, you don't HAVE to work out...but being healthy inside and out is good...that means mentally, spiritually, emotionally. Hopefully they will have kind eyes- a lot is said by how one looks at another. Have to have a brain, and get me to use mine- mentally stimulating.e Have to be able to engage in the long, amazing conversation Love to travel. Passion- for me, you, your life and goals in general. Be able to inspire. Be able to communicate and get all of it out there, good and bad...I am very open about how I feel, and if I am angry, you will know, but I equally want to know when I am less than becoming or when my sh*t stinks...so all those sulkers need not apply. I feel that is the best way to always know where you stand is to talk about it all-- not sugar-coating real life so that your ego is ok...I will always be the girl who appreciates a good man when she sees one, but that entails having respect for you, too. I have found that when the respect fades, so, too does the relationship for me. Someone who is responsible and forward thinking...an adult with childlike appreciations. Someone who can't wait till I get home. Someone who wants to twirl me around on the dance floor. Someone I can't imagine life without.

Play pool...bowling...darts...something entertaining, and not so serious. First meetings and first dates are awkward enough without having to feel like a job interview. If the chemistry isn't there, at least you can come away with a fun time with a new person.
