... But a kind hearted, generous, optimistic type. I’m not sure the fish equivalent, but I’m confident I'll be able to spot him when I meet him. He will be bright, well educated and witty, like people and entertaining. (Sorry, but I'm dead serious about the bright and well educated part, it's a deal killer.) He’ll be reasonably fit with a strong interest in the outdoors and travel. He must know how to enjoy life, which in my book includes food, wine and romance. (The ability to cook or the willingness to learn is a big plus!) I’ve lived in the UK and have a particular weakness for accents and other culture’s views. He’ll be spiritual and believe in creating a better world. He'll probably listen to NPR and XRT.

So about me – most of the above applies, except for that accent part. I’ve worked hard at and built a successful career in finance, which I enjoy most of the time. I tend towards the intellectual and analytical (Myers Briggs INTJ). I’m fascinated by politics and economics, though I can never keep the politicians’ names straight.

After looking for many years for the right guy, I decided that he may or may not be out there, but having my own family was important to me. So I'm a new mother to amazing baby girl Rebecca. So right now a lot of my life is about getting to know my daughter and figuring out what parenthood is all about. I have a great family and am pretty close to them, or as close as I can be since they live in different states. I have an extraordinary group of friends, spread all over the country. I’m fiercely loyal to them and they help keep me sane.

I’m an AWESOME baker!!! My chocolate chip cookies won a blue ribbon in the state fair. Honest-to-God, I was in 4-H.
I’ve traveled extensively and love to hike. I also run and do some yoga. One of my favorite things is really good movies, often foreign or art flicks. I can lose myself in a good movie, but love the chance to critic it afterwards.

My best features are my smile and my hair. My style’s generally pretty laid back, but there are those times that I adore dressing to the nines and a woman can never have too many shoes!
