I've changed my profile a number of times because as I read other profiles, I notice a huge variation in how people represent themselves. It's way too easy to browse through profiles and disregard them. And sometimes I'll read one that will make me burst out laughing or will intrigue me. I have about 6 seconds to give you a glimpse of what I'm about! So here goes....

Do you have a spirit of adventure, spontaneity and a comfort with the unfamiliar, yet are you grounded? Are you able to make others laugh with your wit, which may be mixed with a bit of quirkiness? Having the courage to be straightforward and honest is priceless.

Traveling is my passion! I love the adventure and experience it brings. If you're an avid traveler you know exactly what I'm referring to. All the senses come alive...it's the exhilaration of being somewhere you haven't been before...seeing something that takes your breath away...looking foward to eating the local food...exploring off the beaten path...each moment a new adventure...

I lived in a foreign country for 4 years and backpacked internationally. Those experiences opened my eyes to the world around me and piqued my curiosity. I can pack a suitcase on the spur of the moment and I travel light -- especially for a woman! My philosophy about travel..if it doesn't fit, it doesn't go with me!

I love the ocean, mountains and blue skies...I'm adventurous...I enjoy road trips, skiing, snowshoeing, sailing, kayaking, camping, hiking. I've jumped from a hollowed-out airplane at 12k feet and swore I'd never do it again...until the adrenaline rush wore off!

But....don't be fooled by all the outdoors stuff! I also enjoy wine tasting, great food and culinary experiences! One of my favorite places to go is the CIA in Napa. I enjoy things like watching meteor showers, fireworks shows on the 4th, drives along the coast with the only plans being to stop wherever looks interesting. I also like live music (various genres), whether it be at a concert, an outdoor event, a restaurant or patio or bar. I also like to dance, but that doesn't mean you have to!

One more thing...it may seem a bit harsh, but I'm a realist...if you post old pics of yourself, you may not be living in the present...which means we are not a good match for eachother...

First meeting? I'm open to ideas--a casual meeting where we can get to know eachother a bit. Somewhere quiet enough that we can hear eachother talking.
