I am looking for a guy that is a lot like me, looking for that special someone to "top up" a good life. I miss the closeness, the intimacy, the shared silence only 2 in love can experience. I look, act and feel much younger than my age. So now I confess I am really 62 but would be passed over by some of you that won't consider someone over 60. I love my life and show it in my youthful and energetic everyday ongoings. I would not be compatible with a 62 yr old that "acted his age."

I would love to meet a man that is witty, romantic, fit (no extra pounds please), health conscious, genuine, a nature lover, risk taker,loves to dance and doesn't take himself or life too seriously and lives within 25 minutes from Hamilton. Spontaneity is important in a relationship, doesn't work when there is significant distance between us. I still work, won't be retiring for a couple of years, so can't spend winters down south...and actually I would rather go on adventure vacations than lie on a beach all the time. A little explanation when I answered "long term" in what I am looking for; although that would be the ultimate, a long term serious relationship, I have met several men on this site that I have become activity friends with...cycling, blading, attending concerts with. I believe we don't find a soul mate but rather make ourselves soul mates with the help of compromises, adjustments, and learning as we go along. So if you are not ready for a long term commitment, don't be scared off, we all take it one day at a time.

For our 1st encounter (not considered a date but more an interview) I would greet you with a hug, then shyly "check you over". A latte or wine would be good, we could maybe then go for a walk. Now if this then leads into a real "1st" date (yippee), I think dinner and a dance would be wonderful or attend a concert/festival. Hopefully we would feel comfortable enough to hold hands and laugh a lot.
