About me. I like five km morning runs, I like the feeling of accomplishment after a hard days work is done. I enjoy reading. I try to read two or three books a month. I love to cook. My musical tastes run the gamut from Motorhead to Motown, Ani Difranco, K-Os, Crowded House, The Limosines, and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. My perfect day consists of an open road, a full tank of gas, blue skies, the company of friends and road music.

I laugh during Jett Li movies, enjoy good coffee but can't say I worship it (ok maybe Timmys). And after years of being a traveler and a minimalist, I am finally starting to plant roots and settle in. I still camp light, but my long term goals are to have a house I can call my own.

I believe in synchronicity, connection through randomness, shared breath, connected energy, going on instinct, and following your heart.

I believe in offering a woman a drink when she enters your home. In smiling at parties, and never to swear in the presence of women or children. I believe in being a gentleman, In strangers bearing gifts, in random acts of kindness and the heart that keeps on giving. I believe in connection, devotion, clean sheets, and that a life of wonderful meals, new experiences, and helping others in life is a life well lived.

My interests are mixed. I like museums, the group of seven, book stores, biographies, video games, science fiction (anything by Joss Whedon), target shooting, the cbc, books about war, podcasts, learning, road trips, movies, emoticons ;) ,and stuff ( yes stuff is very important ).

I love Thai food, Vietnamese food, Chinese food, French, Swiss/German, Italian and a whole bunch of other foods who's countries I have never been to.

I lived in Ottawa long enough to see the Ice Storm,and know what the Glebe, Sandy hill and Mechanics ville are. I've lived on both coasts and even stayed in Toronto long enough to know there's something to do every night but it always costs more then you think.

I'm looking for a woman who loves to read, see the world, travel, hang out, eat fondue. Go gangbusters making wonderful food for the sheer joy of cooking and then go fly kites if the wind is right.

But at the end of the day I'm looking for a woman who lives in the vicinity of Petawawa (or doesn't mind distance) and who I can connect with.

Thai Food and good conversation (preferably not about how you hate Thai food).
